Privacy Policy
Profile Card Maker at profilecardmaker.com ("the Service") is a free, browser-only image editor. There is no sign-up, and photos you upload are processed only on your device. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Service.
Effective date: June 18, 2026 · Last revised: August 3, 2026
1. Operator and information we do not request
The Service is a statically hosted web tool operated by an individual. There are no accounts, sign-in, or payments, and the operator does not ask you to enter your name, email, phone number, or address. Photos, fonts, edits, and exports are processed entirely in your browser and are not transmitted to the operator. Note: the operator itself does not collect personal data, but its third-party hosting and advertising partners may process technical data such as IP addresses in their own systems — see Sections 4 and 8 for details.
2. Browser local storage
The items below may be stored only in your browser's localStorage (or equivalent). They are not sent to our servers. Clearing browser data removes them.
3. What is stored locally
Local storage is used only for UI and convenience features.
- Language preference (Korean / English)
- Cookie and advertising consent (choice made in the bottom banner)
- JSON presets you copy and paste are managed by you and are not automatically uploaded to a server
- If Auto-save is enabled, your editing settings (text, colors, layout) are stored in localStorage so they survive a refresh; uploaded images and fonts are never saved and must be re-uploaded after a reload
4. Google AdSense and third-party advertising
This service may display third-party advertisements, including Google AdSense. Ads are enabled only after Google AdSense approval. When ads are shown, Google and advertising partners may use cookies, advertising IDs, IP addresses, and device information to serve, measure, and personalize ads. Google advertising technologies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads · Ad personalization: https://adssettings.google.com · Google Analytics opt-out (if applicable): https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
5. Cookie consent and your choices
When you click Accept on the cookie banner, you consent to advertising and related cookies. Your choice is stored in localStorage. You can use editing and export features without accepting, but ads may not be shown. The editor works normally when only language settings are stored. You can withdraw advertising consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer — the page reloads and advertising scripts no longer load.
6. Your choices and JSON presets
Uploading, editing, and downloading images is entirely your choice. JSON presets contain text, color, and layout settings only—not your original image files. If you share a preset, check that it does not include personal information such as your real name or contact details.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child's information has been processed, contact us via the footer email and we will guide you on deleting relevant local data (such as consent records).
8. Retention, deletion, and security
We do not store user images or exports on a server. We deliver HTML, CSS, and JavaScript via static hosting (e.g. Cloudflare Pages) over HTTPS. Hosting providers (such as Cloudflare) may process standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, browser information, etc.) to deliver site files; those logs do not include images, fonts, or edits you upload in the editor. Retention criteria: the operator retains no personal data of its own — items you save in localStorage stay until you delete them in your browser settings. Data processed by third parties (Cloudflare access logs, Google AdSense advertising data) is retained according to each provider's published policy and retention schedule, not by the operator. Review those policies here: Cloudflare — https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ · Google AdSense — https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
9. Policy changes
We may update this policy when the Service, applicable laws, or advertising policies change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance of the updated policy.
10. International users
The Service is accessible worldwide. Advertising and cookies may be processed under Google and third-party policies and the laws of your region. If you wish to exercise GDPR-related rights (access, deletion, objection, etc.) in the EU/EEA, UK, or similar regions, contact us via the footer email. Because we do not store personal data on our servers, most requests can be resolved by clearing localStorage and cookies in your browser.
For privacy, cookie, or advertising questions, use the footer email or the contact block on the About page. We aim to reply within seven business days.
